“Two days ago, I was admitted to the hospital for a cesarean section under general anesthesia, and I was pleased with how quickly my procedures were handled. However, despite having agreed to general anesthesia, I accepted the spinal anesthesia at the insistence and recommendation of the anesthesiologist. My experience afterward was terrible. At the moment he was supposed to administer the anesthesia, he attempted to inject my back six times, saying it wasn't working. When I asked what was happening, writhing in pain, he said he would try 20 times and that I had to endure. At that moment, experiencing intense trauma and pain, I wanted to get off the table for both myself and my baby. Then a male doctor came in, approached the situation kindly, and intervened, not listening to the anesthesiologist. I successfully had the surgery under general anesthesia as I wanted. Regarding the rooms, if we look at the hospital's potential and the fees charged, the situation is dire. The food is subpar; they just drop it off like it's nothing. For breakfast, they brought a slice of bread with margarine and a mushy mixture with noodles. Don't even get me started on lunch and dinner :) For breastfeeding mothers who need energy and morale, the rooms were neglected and dirty, and at certain hours, no companions were allowed. It felt very cruel to have to get up to care for my baby while dealing with the pain of stitches. My birth story, which cost me 2500 lari, was not uplifting or positive at all.”

“This is Unbox's second center; the first one is located at 4 Paliashvili Street. It's newly renovated, and the receptionist is polite and very pleasant. There are two rooms and capsules (mini-rooms for one person) for rent. The center also has a kitchenette. The center is staffed primarily by psychologists and psychotherapists. All rooms have internet access, so if you need to hold an online session or Zoom meeting, you can do so easily at the center. The rooms are air-conditioned, and the capsules have soundproofed walls. Everything here is also brand new, including the furniture. The reception area plays pleasant music, there's a comfortable sofa for waiting clients, and coffee and cookies are available upon request. I haven't rented one myself, only visited, but I really liked the center's atmosphere. Books are also available for purchase (on topics such as psychology and personal development).”

“The worst examination of my life... the doctor was pushing and trying to sell me unnecessary treatments, manipulating the terms to make it seem like I was the fool... the clinic is okay, but I have many questions for the doctor. There was zero interest in his eyes. He didn't even look in my mouth, even though I traveled across the city for this consultation. The clinic has a rule: first a consultation, then treatment. So instead of examining my entire mouth, the doctor barely looked at the teeth I complained about, barely opening my mouth, using just one mirror from the side, almost from a distance. Extremely reluctantly and dissatisfied. Naturally, he immediately suggested a crown. Even though the tooth didn't require it at all. When I said I didn't need a crown because it involves grinding the tooth down, he said no, the tooth doesn't get ground down, it gets restored! I asked him to explain the whole process. During which he replaced the word 'grind' with 'file down'. Of course, the miracle doctor tried to raise the bill by suggesting an X-ray. Although the specific tooth didn't require it, and he was ready to treat it immediately. But seeing my allergy/cold on the other cheek, he quickly shuffled the cards in favor of the X-ray and its importance. Moreover, he stated that I definitely had infections... without a doubt. And besides, he said I could use this X-ray with a neurologist if needed. I was so surprised, of course, I looked sideways, went to change money, and asked the administrator again about the X-ray, like, is this X-ray only suitable for dentists or for neurologists too? She quickly and clearly said it was only for dentists. Not suitable for other doctors. Then she said to ask the doctor. I said I asked, and he said it would work everywhere. She was shocked and went to clarify. He convinced her that yes, it would also work for a neurologist if those parts of the face were examined, but not the back. He even hinted to her, and she told me, that there was swelling under my eye, so she recommended the X-ray. Only when I told her that the tooth was actually on the other side, she said, then it's not needed. But it was clear she was under a similar impression as I was. Shocked. And you know what? I've had dental work done in four countries. Including Armenia. When by pure chance the doctor turned out to be Armenian, I was very happy about it. In advance. I had dental work done in Armenia, and those are my best memories of dentistry in my life. None of those doctors ever tried to scam me. Not once. Whether I came with insurance or not. For just an examination or for treatment. Here I saw something like 'we write 2, 3 comes to mind'. And yes, I'm still not sure that I need to treat 2 teeth. As the doctor said. Because I actually came in for 1. But he kind of found that 2 were decayed, I don't see that at all. I don't feel it. I see about 25% of 1 tooth. From my feelings. Of course, now I will have to look for other doctors, as I didn't feel trust or desire to continue here. Perhaps for implants and crowns, this doctor is a super-doctor, and that is his specialty. I don't know. But for regular fillings, this is not suitable at all. The nurse was also quite indifferent, by the way. I didn't like it. I entertained the thought that not everything might suit me. But I certainly didn't expect this. The doctor doesn't look at the patient! He also doesn't listen to them and interrupts under the impression... unfortunately, not a pleasant one. I thought all evening: should I write such a review or not, since I came to the clinic and to the doctor on the recommendation of acquaintances. However, something in their words, despite the enthusiasm, was still alarming back then. The doctor offered them a Hollywood smile. But I thought, okay. I have a simpler request, and yes, doctors do have a practice of scamming, especially dentists, but I'm okay, I'm lucky. 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁 Response to the review: I didn't complain about the prices and didn't refuse, I just didn't understand that the price was for 2 teeth, as the doctor simply didn't say that there were 2! The surprise was that I had meant a completely different tooth and a completely different chip, which he couldn't even know about, as he didn't look at the tooth on that side where the cheek is; in similar cases, I knew that it just gets polished a little, not that a filling is put in. I asked about 1 filling because sometimes the gap between 2 can be problematic! There was no swelling on that side. I'm being treated at another clinic where they explained things properly.”

“I developed red, peeling spots on my face and leg that protrude above the skin. I consulted a dermatologist at this clinic because someone from other clinics recommended it in Kani. I thought that meant there were specialists in this clinic who understand all skin diseases and know how to treat them. During the consultation, the doctor didn't talk much with me; she spent more time adjusting her monitors. Then she started the examination using a device that displayed images on the screen. After examining my head, face, and leg, she couldn't immediately provide a correct diagnosis. She said she needed to gather a consult with other doctors and that I should apply a hormonal ointment to my face and leg for a week. However, attention! Hormonal ointments should not be applied to the face at all, as the skin is thin and it can lead to more spots and redness. Of course, I didn't apply the ointment as the doctor instructed, since I had used it before (fluorocort) and it didn't help; it made things worse. After hormonal ointments, withdrawal syndrome occurs. After a week, when I returned for an appointment, the doctor still didn't give me an exact diagnosis, saying it was an atypical non-classical case. She also questioned why I hadn't applied the hormonal ointment. In total, after paying 100 lari for the consultation, I still didn't understand what illness I had and how to treat it. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. As a dermatologist, she couldn't determine the diagnosis based on symptoms, external signs, or even through the device. The consultation fee was taken, but no diagnosis was provided. She only prescribed moisturizing creams, which do not treat the disease itself, but only alleviate dryness. After that, I went to Tbilisi to see a professor who, after examination and dermatoscopy, provided an accurate diagnosis - psoriasis. He also said that hormonal ointments should not be applied to the face. The situation with dermatologists in Batumi is quite sad.”

After this three-hour "treatment", my jaw still wouldn't close. But the doctor said she wasn't going to remove the extra filling ("extra" is her word), and that it was my teeth that were to blame. I clarified that my teeth had been clenching before the appointment. Ultimately, I had to have the filling finished at another clinic. Incidentally, the doctor there completed the "grinding" in less than a minute. I understand that a doctor can be inexperienced and take longer to complete their work. I'm fine with that. But it's not normal to behave unprofessionally, refuse to finish the work they've started, and blame the client for their own failure. Furthermore, during the "treatment," the doctor unexpectedly found a million problems with my teeth, for example, suggesting that I get root fillings on five teeth, claiming I felt pain there, even though I said I had no dental complaints and that I came to replace an old, darkened filling. I won't even mention the non-existent cavities and "wedge-shaped syndrome" in half my mouth.”

“We visited the clinic to see a "specialist" who is simultaneously the founder, an ENT, and an allergist. Unfortunately, the visit left an extremely negative impression and raised serious doubts about the competence and adherence to medical standards. 1. Appointment as an Allergist: It seemed that the doctor was not interested in finding the true cause of the disease. * We were told that "there's no point in taking tests," as I quote, "it could be an allergy either to a cat or to dust." * A recommendation was given to take antihistamines for life. This approach, which excludes diagnostics (tests, analyses) and offers symptomatic treatment for a lifetime, seems unprofessional and inadequate for modern allergology. 2. Appointment as an ENT (Otolaryngologist): The examination as an ENT was shocking and did not meet any standards. * I came with a confirmed and repeatedly treated diagnosis of chronic tonsillitis (with characteristic purulent plugs). The doctor stated that I had no tonsillitis. * The examination was conducted without adhering to basic sanitary and technical norms, which is unacceptable. The doctor lacked: * Sterile gloves. * Special ENT instruments. * A personal medical flashlight or light source. * Instead of medical equipment, the doctor asked me to turn on the flashlight on my personal phone and shine it in my throat. This is a gross violation of examination rules, hygiene norms, and safety techniques. 🛑 Conclusion The combination of the founder's position and an incompetent doctor in two key specialties (ENT and allergist) raises serious questions about the level of the entire clinic. The unwillingness to conduct diagnostics, refusal of adequate treatment for tonsillitis, as well as the absolutely unacceptable examination without instruments and gloves — all of this has led us to never return to this clinic again. I strongly do not recommend consulting this specialist.”
