“This is Sven from the Netherlands and I went by spart dental just before Christmas and just found the time to write a review now in march, but that also gives me a good experience judgement.. I went for 6 composite facings on my front upper teeth.. from the middle 3 left & 3 right and chose the bleach color.. by the way I recommend to always take the bleach color with composite even if your own other teeth are not that white.. because after months of coffee or tea it will lose a bit of the bleach white anyway.. and it's also better to use a session of the bleaching lamp on to the surrounding teeth before the facings if necessary.. but anyway, I had a lot of gaps between my own teeth, since a child actually.. and where I already put composite facings on three months before when I was visiting Tbilisi (low price, but I was not satisfied, because of the gaps and shape) and also around 4 years ago in Budapest.. but nobody could close the gaps.. so when I was in Georgia again, I asked the lady who runs the hotel, if she knew a good dentist and she recommended spartdental as she is a client there, and the next day I just walked in and could get a appointment for the next day with English speaking Dr. Eto Asatiani, after she made some time for me after all her regular patients, we discussed the shape and she said if you want to close the gaps your teeth will be wider, I said that I don't care, just do it, and she did it and it looks amazing! for the first time in my life I have a beautiful set of front teeth, no gaps but I can still floss between the teeth.. I went three evenings in a row, she made time after her regulars, one hour each and I also asked for a lot of adjustments during those sessions.. she made the teeth long and wide so I could choose the shape myself, Because after Tbilisi I thought, now it must be how I wanted.. I directed her constantly with every tooth.. really annoying for sure 😁.. but she stayed so relaxed and understanding, this is pure class to stay so calm as a dentist.. Thank you Eto, you're a sweetheart ❤️ There is always a chance that if you bite in something hard you can break a bit off of the teeth, but I'm now 3 months in and nothing happened yet, fingers crossed.. she made solid teeth, and even if something breaks off, I don't care I will have it fixed easily I paid 200 lari (63 euro) for each tooth! Can you believe that, for a whole new smile! I'm so so so happy! It changed my whole look, self confidence and appearance Now my plan is to do some other work there as well.. 2 implants with crowns and also thinking in the future after the composite wears out or getting brown, to take ceramic crowns & facings because these have also very affordable prices (I think I remember seeing a price of 450 or 500 lari (150 euro per tooth!) and you don't have to be afraid that it breaks or getting brown, and it lasts around 20 years Highly recommend this dentist Btw: Wizzair flies from different countries in Europe directly to Kutaisi.. I went two times, from Brussels and Prague and you can find flights for 50 or 60 euro, travelling with a small bag, fly 4 hours and just make it a holiday, Georgia is a hidden gem anyway, so affordable and kind people.. I used bolt taxis all the time, 1 or 2 euro, the most I paid for a bolt was 6 euro for a 45 minute, 12 kilometer ride through Batumi beach city traffic New pair of glasses, contact lenses. clothing, shoes, tattoos, mobile phones.. fitness centers, restaurants all so affordable.. I love it!”

“The worst examination of my life... the doctor was pushing and trying to sell me unnecessary treatments, manipulating the terms to make it seem like I was the fool... the clinic is okay, but I have many questions for the doctor. There was zero interest in his eyes. He didn't even look in my mouth, even though I traveled across the city for this consultation. The clinic has a rule: first a consultation, then treatment. So instead of examining my entire mouth, the doctor barely looked at the teeth I complained about, barely opening my mouth, using just one mirror from the side, almost from a distance. Extremely reluctantly and dissatisfied. Naturally, he immediately suggested a crown. Even though the tooth didn't require it at all. When I said I didn't need a crown because it involves grinding the tooth down, he said no, the tooth doesn't get ground down, it gets restored! I asked him to explain the whole process. During which he replaced the word 'grind' with 'file down'. Of course, the miracle doctor tried to raise the bill by suggesting an X-ray. Although the specific tooth didn't require it, and he was ready to treat it immediately. But seeing my allergy/cold on the other cheek, he quickly shuffled the cards in favor of the X-ray and its importance. Moreover, he stated that I definitely had infections... without a doubt. And besides, he said I could use this X-ray with a neurologist if needed. I was so surprised, of course, I looked sideways, went to change money, and asked the administrator again about the X-ray, like, is this X-ray only suitable for dentists or for neurologists too? She quickly and clearly said it was only for dentists. Not suitable for other doctors. Then she said to ask the doctor. I said I asked, and he said it would work everywhere. She was shocked and went to clarify. He convinced her that yes, it would also work for a neurologist if those parts of the face were examined, but not the back. He even hinted to her, and she told me, that there was swelling under my eye, so she recommended the X-ray. Only when I told her that the tooth was actually on the other side, she said, then it's not needed. But it was clear she was under a similar impression as I was. Shocked. And you know what? I've had dental work done in four countries. Including Armenia. When by pure chance the doctor turned out to be Armenian, I was very happy about it. In advance. I had dental work done in Armenia, and those are my best memories of dentistry in my life. None of those doctors ever tried to scam me. Not once. Whether I came with insurance or not. For just an examination or for treatment. Here I saw something like 'we write 2, 3 comes to mind'. And yes, I'm still not sure that I need to treat 2 teeth. As the doctor said. Because I actually came in for 1. But he kind of found that 2 were decayed, I don't see that at all. I don't feel it. I see about 25% of 1 tooth. From my feelings. Of course, now I will have to look for other doctors, as I didn't feel trust or desire to continue here. Perhaps for implants and crowns, this doctor is a super-doctor, and that is his specialty. I don't know. But for regular fillings, this is not suitable at all. The nurse was also quite indifferent, by the way. I didn't like it. I entertained the thought that not everything might suit me. But I certainly didn't expect this. The doctor doesn't look at the patient! He also doesn't listen to them and interrupts under the impression... unfortunately, not a pleasant one. I thought all evening: should I write such a review or not, since I came to the clinic and to the doctor on the recommendation of acquaintances. However, something in their words, despite the enthusiasm, was still alarming back then. The doctor offered them a Hollywood smile. But I thought, okay. I have a simpler request, and yes, doctors do have a practice of scamming, especially dentists, but I'm okay, I'm lucky. 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁 Response to the review: I didn't complain about the prices and didn't refuse, I just didn't understand that the price was for 2 teeth, as the doctor simply didn't say that there were 2! The surprise was that I had meant a completely different tooth and a completely different chip, which he couldn't even know about, as he didn't look at the tooth on that side where the cheek is; in similar cases, I knew that it just gets polished a little, not that a filling is put in. I clarified that my teeth had been clenching before the appointment. Ultimately, I had to have the filling finished at another clinic. Incidentally, the doctor there completed the "grinding" in less than a minute. I understand that a doctor can be inexperienced and take longer to complete their work. I'm fine with that. But it's not normal to behave unprofessionally, refuse to finish the work they've started, and blame the client for their own failure. Furthermore, during the "treatment," the doctor unexpectedly found a million problems with my teeth, for example, suggesting that I get root fillings on five teeth, claiming I felt pain there, even though I said I had no dental complaints and that I came to replace an old, darkened filling. I won't even mention the non-existent cavities and "wedge-shaped syndrome" in half my mouth.”

Mind you they said the range price is 130-230 gel and strangely enough the surface level filling costed me 260, and paid total 104 with insurance. It shouldn’t cost that much, it’s not a root canal or more complex treatment. Plus their booking system was kinda mess. They couldn’t figure out my appointment. The doctor was nice and the tooth was fixed, but felt like everything was rushed. The clinic itself was not bad, a bit used furnitures, but having two chairs/patients in one room gave an impression that they work for quantity, not quality. Won’t use it anymore.
