First of all, huge thanks to Nino Gaprindashvili, a family therapist who always shows real care and warmth ♥️ Also, thank you so much to Nino Machivariani, Liana Kartozia, and Margalita Khazaradze for being so kind, attentive and professional🤍 The reception girls — thank you for always being so accurate (and why are you all looking like models btw? 😅)🩷 🙃 Unfortunately, nothing is perfect. One very unpleasant experience I had was with ultrasound specialist Kristina Ananidze. She behaved irritated during the procedure, and right after it she told me that next time she “wouldn’t speak this language” (meaning Russian). NO ONE asked her to speak Russian, she started speaking russian herself — we could’ve easily talked in English, but it seems she doesn’t know it. Tbilisi is a city full of people from all over the world who come and go every year. That kind of attitude from a doctor leaves a really bad impression, especially when you’re in a vulnerable position as a patient.”

“Extremely unorganized system they have. I need HLA typing test for my sister in Korea. Georcord was the only one organization to do the test as far as I know. But they send the blood samples to Germany laboratory just once in a month. And I cannot schedule, nor they notice me the exact date a week before. I've been waiting about 2 months, finally I got the test after I cancel my summer vacation.(Because they change the dates several time, I couldn't make my schedule) It's very annoying experience.”

“I can only leave positive emotions from the appointment. Before visiting this clinic, we went to the city polyclinic, to two specialists who, when I described my child's symptoms, simply told me that everything was fine, the only issue was the adenoids, which needed to be removed. A couple of days passed, and I saw that something was still bothering my child, and I just happened to meet a pharmacist in the pharmacy who recommended this clinic to me. I called, clarified everything, and we came for an appointment with the ENT, Liana. I explained everything to her, she understood me, and since they speak Russian well, everything was clear and explained in detail. It turned out that we had an inflammatory process that had spread to the healthy ear, meaning one ear was hurting, while we were told everything was fine, and now both hurt instead of one. There was swelling of the nasopharyngeal tonsil, and my child was having difficulty breathing. They prescribed medication, explained in detail how to take it, and we left with smiles from the good impressions and experienced doctors, heading to the pharmacy and then home. I highly recommend this clinic; you won't find better specialists in Kutaisi. I advise you not to waste your money unnecessarily but to seek help from this clinic right away, and they will definitely help you!”

Then the rest of the 'competent' staff came and repeated that this is how medicine is, sometimes things happen. How do people raise children in such filth? I paid 15 lari with insurance, and I hope they buy some brains for that nurse. And I hope that such incompetent people won't be working in the system when they get older.”

The doctor didn't ask me what my complaints were, examined me, and prescribed treatment that had nothing to do with my symptoms. Also, be prepared for additional services to be imposed on you that will increase the previously announced cost by 1.5/2 times.”

They didn't remove the gallbladder, instead they put in a drain and discharged the person who was in a bad condition from the clinic, and when we returned the second time, they didn't even let us see him. In the end, they called to say he had died. The nurses were tactless and aggressive. I don't recommend this clinic to anyone. Didn't the doctor know that he shouldn't discharge a person with such a diagnosis and condition???”

“I’ve been in radiology with very routine procedure, MRI. The MRI itself went well, and then terrible experience started. I’ve been calling the hospital multiple times to send MRI images to me, they did not send it reassuring that they did. Then I just came to the hospital demanding my MRI, and they told me that everything already sent. Turns out, they sent it to the wrong email, which is, by the way, breach of patients confidentiality. After third attempt to get my images, they sent it to the right email. Then, the same stuff happened with the radiology report. Calls didn’t work, I came to the hospital, fourth time in couple of days. They sent it in 1 minute, and it was in Georgian. I initially said that my neurosurgeon is English-speaking, I need everything in English. When I brought it up why the report in Georgian, they said that they are “Georgian hospital”. So, might be they should rename themselves from “American Hospital” to Georgian hospital for people who wants medical services to be done in the sufficient international level. Not to fool anyone just in case that people think they have good medical services, they don’t. Finally, my MRI shows urgent abnormalities, and they were not speeding any steps to inform me. If I wasn’t persistent enough, they were not going to figure out how to use right email to send me results 100%. Don’t go there”

“There is no worse place than this clinic! 1. There are no visiting hours, 2. No one pays attention to the patients, 3. Relatives are not allowed to be with the patient and take care of them, 4. If the doctor does not provide information and does not answer questions, how are we supposed to understand what is happening? 5. Rude security staff, 6. If you do not inform the patient's relatives that they can ask the security staff about the patient's condition, it will be physically impossible for us (this is something new for me); 7. When I am worried about my loved one and I call the surgeon or try to talk, they should not be in an aggressive mood! I really do not recommend anyone to end up in such a terrible environment, even if you have an ideal surgeon!”
