Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Edition of 19.09.2026 · Law of Georgia “On Protection of Consumer Rights”, Art. 13–15

1. Right of withdrawal from a distance contract

1.1. When a contract is concluded at a distance, the consumer may withdraw from it within 14 (fourteen) calendar days without giving reasons (Art. 13 of the Law “On Protection of Consumer Rights”). The period runs from the conclusion of the contract.

1.2. Exceptions where the right of withdrawal does not apply or is limited:

  • the requirements of the relevant chapter of the law do not apply to services costing no more than 30 GEL;
  • if, before the withdrawal period expires, the consumer expressly requested that the service begin and was informed of this — the right of withdrawal is lost;
  • other exceptions provided by Art. 14 of the Law.

1.3. A Unison policy is concluded for one year, so the limitation that applies to policies of 14 days or less does not apply to it.

2. Refund of the insurance premium

2.1. Refunds of the insurance premium are governed by the Insurer’s insurance rules and by the status of the policy. On early termination after the insurance period has begun, the Insurer returns the unearned part of the premium less the costs incurred; the earned part remains with the Insurer.

2.2. Where the right under clause 1.1 is exercised, the amount paid is returned within 14 calendar days of receipt of the application (Art. 15), by the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.

2.3. For Unison policies, early termination and refund of the premium follow the Insurer’s rules. The application may be submitted through the Operator, who will pass it to the Insurer. If the premium has not yet been transferred to the Insurer, the refund is made by the Operator — in that case the money comes back sooner.

If the policy was never issued, the amount paid is returned in full, including the service fee and the bank fee. No application is needed in that case: the Operator returns the money on its own initiative.

3. Service fee and bank fee

3.1. The service fee is the Operator’s remuneration for issuing the policy online; the bank fee is the cost of accepting the payment. The service is rendered once and is deemed rendered when the policy is issued, therefore after the policy has been issued neither the service fee nor the bank fee is refunded, including on a later withdrawal from the contract or a refund of the premium.

3.2. The service fee and the bank fee are shown before payment as separate lines in the order breakdown. The service fee is charged on monthly and quarterly schedules; when paying in advance for six months or for a year it is not charged. The bank fee applies only to card payments.

3.3. The non-refundable nature of these fees does not affect the right to a refund of the insurance premium in the cases and in the manner provided by law and by the Insurer’s rules.

4. How to submit an application

4.1. Send the application to a1@100doc.ge. Please state the order number (for example, UNI-2026-0001), the e-mail given at checkout and the reason for the request.

4.2. A refund of the premium on insurance grounds may be made through the Insurer in accordance with its rules; the Operator assists in submitting the request.

4.3. The money is returned by the same method used for payment, within 14 calendar days of the application being approved.

5. Disputes

5.1. If the consumer disagrees with the decision, they may apply to the National Competition Agency of Georgia and/or to court.

5.2. This document is published in Russian, English and Georgian; in case of any discrepancy between the language versions, the Russian version prevails.
