I would like to thank the administration of the clinic at 9 Uznadze for their responsiveness and efficiency: I lost my receipt and prescription for my insurance company, I called, they found them, and sent a duplicate by email within an hour.

Until my last visit, my experience with the Silk Medical clinic had been positive, but it was ruined by what happened. I scheduled an appointment for chlamydia and gonorrhea testing, confirming with the receptionists in advance that a swab was needed and how much it would cost. I came with the specific purpose of getting DNA tests. However, during the appointment, the doctor misunderstood my request and began explaining other types of tests. It later turned out that they were talking about different tests (a regular swab and DNA tests), leading to a misunderstanding. As a result, the consultation was useless for me—I didn't get what I wanted. Despite this, I was charged 140 lari for a consultation I didn't request and which arose precisely because of this misunderstanding. When I tried to calmly discuss the situation and explain that I was only there for testing, one of the receptionists became downright rude. The tone suddenly became sarcastic, they started talking to me like, "If you don't want to pay, go to another clinic." They snatched the test results from my hand, and then rudely pointed to the door ("the door's over there"). I consider this behavior unacceptable in a situation where I was trying to peacefully resolve an obvious confusion. I ultimately paid for the appointment, but decided not to deal with that clinic again and cancelled my next visit.

I got the HPV vaccine. At my first appointment, the doctor couldn't tell me which strains the vaccine protects against. He didn't warn me that it's given three times at regular intervals. I had to come back again, after the doctor finally figured it out. They charged 100 lari for the 'consultation,' plus 30 for the injection. I came back for a second time today. They scheduled another consultation. They charged 100 lari for taking my temperature and blood pressure, and asking, 'Was everything okay after the first injection?' I asked if I could sign a waiver so the doctor wouldn't take responsibility and skip the consultation. They said they'd never had anything like that. I feel cheated. The scope and quality of services provided are completely out of line with the price.
