Besides being alone with my wife for 4 endless hours of pain and torture, everything was great, excluding the price which is always increasing. Post pregnancy care is amazing, nurses help you with everything.

I decided to get an IUD and went to the Chachava clinic. Before going to the clinic, I called to make an appointment and clarified the cost of services and the IUD in advance, as I wanted to plan my budget correctly. On the phone, I was told that the doctor's consultation cost 120 lari. Then, during the same call, I was transferred to the pharmacy to find out the price of the IUD. The pharmacist also told me that the cost of the IUD itself was 120 lari. Based on this information, I decided to go to the clinic, as this amount fit into my budget. Upon arriving at the clinic, the receptionist guided me and took me to the doctor. I had a consultation, after which the doctor told me to go out to the pharmacy and buy the IUD. I purchased the IUD, returned to the doctor, and underwent the procedure. After the procedure was completed, when it was time to pay, the nurse told me that I had to pay 250 lari. They did not let me go to the reception to pay — the nurse herself asked me to pay in cash. Of course, I protested, as I had received information in advance about the cost of services and the IUD, and no one warned me about any additional charges. Moreover, the procedure finished in the evening, around 6:00 PM, when it was already outside of working hours, and I no longer had the opportunity to call back to verify the amount. After that, the receptionist, the nurse, and the doctor, Ms. Shorena Kikvaidze, discussed how to handle the situation. During the conversation, I heard them arguing, including the phrase, "so that we don't have any problems." About 5 minutes later, I was called, and the nurse told me that the doctor was gifting me the procedure. Of course, I thanked her. I then asked if I had any questions or problems after the procedure, or if I had any contraindications, whom I should contact. The nurse gave me a phone number and told me I could call at any time. After that, I left the clinic. The next day, I noticed that I had a thread of the IUD in my vagina, about which neither the doctor nor the nurse had informed me in advance. That same day, I called the doctor. During the conversation, the doctor said to me, "What did you think, that you did it for free and left since you didn't pay?" I explained that the procedure was not free — I was told that the doctor gifted me the procedure. I also clarified that if I had known the actual amount I needed to pay from the beginning, I would have paid the appropriate amount, and there would have been no problem. After this, the doctor abruptly ended the conversation and hung up the phone. I find it particularly unclear why I was asked to pay in cash and not at the cash register, and why I was not given clear information about the final cost of the service in advance. Because of this experience, I am very dissatisfied and offended. I do not intend to deceive anyone, nor will I allow myself to be deceived. I just want the public to know what experience I had at this clinic, so that other patients can verify the full cost of services in advance and not find themselves in similar misunderstandings. Personally, I would not wish for anyone to have the same experience I had.
