Unqualified doctors, carelessness; you have to beg them to pay attention to you. The lowest-level clinic. Because of such doctors, nothing in medicine can save us.

Yesterday at the Telavi regional hospital I had a fairly complex operation to repair a fractured shinbone. I am very grateful to all the hospital staff, especially the young surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses; all of them are professionals. May God bless you and bring you joy.

2025 (July 25) 🚗 Google navigation is accurate👍🏻 🅿️ There is a small parking area at the clinic itself for 4-5 cars, barely enough space. There is also parking on the street, but it is fully occupied… 🚾 The toilet is clean, right there on the first floor in the emergency reception. 🏥 The patient was received with a wheelchair right upon arrival; we brought Grandpa Robo yesterday and they attended to him immediately, without waiting… We'll see about the rest, hopefully they will get him back on his feet 🙏🏻 Thank you and best wishes ❤️

We visited the emergency department in the evening after our 4-year-old child was bitten on the head by a dog. This is a clear medical emergency that requires immediate action. However, instead of promptly administering the first rabies vaccine, we were kept waiting for over 40 minutes while paperwork was being handled with the insurance company. In other cities, such as Tbilisi, the medical staff typically provides the vaccine immediately and deals with the insurance afterward. This delay felt both unnecessary and unsafe. Additionally, we were advised not to proceed with the vaccination there, but rather to go to Tbilisi and get it done within 72 hours. This was especially concerning, as bites to the head — particularly in young children — are considered high-risk, and international medical guidelines clearly recommend immediate post-exposure prophylaxis in such cases. We hope that in the future, the emergency care process will prioritize patient safety and medical urgency, especially when it involves children and potentially life-threatening infections like rabies.
