I had a very positive experience at Oftalmij Eye Clinic. From the first call to the consultation, the staff was attentive, polite, and helpful. The doctor explained everything clearly and made me feel calm and confident throughout the process. The clinic is well-equipped, clean, and professional. I truly felt that I was in safe hands. Highly recommended for anyone looking for trusted eye care in Tbilisi.

I came to a strabismologist specifically for double vision (diplopia) to get a prescription for prismatic glasses. After charging me a premium "foreigner rate" for the consultation, the doctor told me they don't issue prism prescriptions at all and advised me to "just go find an optician." ​I literally had to insist just to make the doctor take a ruler and measure the actual angle of my strabismus (4-5 degrees). To make matters worse, the doctor completely ignored the MRI results I already provided and blindly copy-pasted a recommendation to get an MRI again. Zero personal approach, just taking money for a templated printout. ​It’s absolutely absurd that a specialized microsurgery clinic lacks the basic competence or willingness to prescribe optical correction. They gladly took my money for the appointment, provided zero real help for my specific issue, and showed me the door because my case didn't require their highly profitable surgeries. Save your time and money.

You also need to add a rating category for operators: a completely tactless and irritating tone, as if you're calling a personal number and bothering someone.

Both my wife and I had corrective surgery, everything is great. The doctors we interacted with were very pleasant.

Disorganized and Time-Consuming Experience I had a very frustrating experience at Ophthalmij Eye Clinic. From the start, the process was completely disorganized. First, I had to wait in two separate lines — one to register and another to pay. No one explained where to go next, so I went to the doctor’s office and waited there, only to be told later that I first needed to go to the diagnostics room. At the diagnostics room, I had to register again separately and ended up waiting a long time. People who came after me were being seen ahead of me, and my number never lit up on the screen. When I finally went inside to ask what was going on, they just let me in without explanation. After diagnostics, I returned to the doctor’s office and had to wait again. In total, the whole process took hours, with minimal communication and zero guidance from the staff. It felt chaotic and disrespectful of patients’ time. I do not recommend this clinic if you value efficiency and proper patient care.
