I am lucky to have found Archil an experienced neurosurgeon fluent in English. In spite of two previous operations which gave me temporary relief I was suffering from loss of balance and genitourinary symptoms due to severe lumbar stenosis, After carefully studying my MRI scan he advised that there was no alternative to further surgery. If I agreed he would do a two level decompression and possible fusion. The operation took nearly three hours and I was back home after three days. He was attentive post op and explained the findings. Fusion was not necessary. He and his assistant have followied me up until the wound has healed. I can highly recommend Archil to any one needing neurosurgery

My experience with Dr. Eristavi was nothing short of exceptional. He was accommodating and patient thoroughly explaining the results of my MRI and pointing out the herniated disk and vertebrae misalignment on my images. He answered all of my questions, gave me clear recommended next steps and connected me with a neurologist Dr Joseph in the same building so I was able to get the proper pain medication. If you are a foreigner looking for English speaking, neurology experts i highly recommend Dr Eristavi and Dr. Joseph. Also the administrative staff was super helpful and easy to communicate with making the overall experience top tier at the American Hospital.

It’s been an honour and a pleasure to be Dr Archil’s patient. Thank to the neurosurgeon my lower back issue (L4/L5 disc protrusion) which caused excruciating pain (lasted for more than 2 months and glued me to bed) was literally resolved in a matter of hours. Dr Archil performed an ideal surgery (microdiscectomy) and I got dismissed on the next day pain free. I had a great experience with Dr. Eristavi. When my old back injury acted up, multiple doctors said I would need surgery as my MRI showed a large obvious nerve compression. Dr. Eristavi explained the microdiscectomy was a simple procedure with a high success rate. The hospital was very high tech and comfortable for my recovery. I went from not being able to walk to feeling great within 48 hours after surgery. It felt miraculous after weeks of extreme pain. When I first met him the doctor was calm and confident, and explained everything in detail, making me very comfortable. As a foreigner I was nervous about getting the surgery in Georgia instead of the USA, but in the end it was a wonderful experience. I highly reccomend Dr. Eristavi for spinal procedures.

After the shock of a brain tumor diagnosis, we were relieved to be able to stay in Tbilisi to have it surgically removed. Dr. Eristavi worked patiently with us to answer questions and prepare us for my husband's operation. He was able to remove the tumor while preserving my husband's speech and motor skills, and we returned home in less than a week.
